JA programs help youth prepare for the jobs of the future, develop financial independence, and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset.

For 70 years, JA British Columbia (JABC) has empowered young people with the skills and confidence to thrive through free, hands-on programs in work readiness, financial health, and entrepreneurship. Delivered in collaboration with educators and supported by dedicated volunteers, JA programs align with B.C.’s curriculum, are offered year-round at no cost, and can be delivered in-class or online with flexible formats and free resources (with some programs available in French). Enrol your class today!

Testimonials

Keifer, Glenrosa Middle School:

The students, ranging from ages 11-14, were very engaged and eagerly participated in the activities and discussions. Our Facilitators, Tam and Raychel, were extremely knowledgeable and personable, giving the students real life perspectives and stories about why this learning is so important for everyone to know. The program, lessons and activities were great. They had access points for a variety of students to join in no matter what their level of understanding was at the beginning of the session. I highly recommend JA’s Dollar and Sense program to teachers and will be getting them to come back to my classroom.
