In collaboration with our partners, Discovery Foundation and Spring, JA British Columbia hosted an exclusive student investor pitch competition, Discover your Pitch, for the top Be Entrepreneurial teams of the 2018/2019 school year.
These teams, nominated by their teachers, are invited to take their entrepreneurship skills and knowledge to the next level by participating in an entrepreneurship workshop and then pitching their business idea to a panel of judges made up of BC’s top business executives.
Prizes:
First Place – $2500 Palisade from Kitsilano Secondary| Second Place – $1000 MERAKi from Eric Hamber Secondary | Third Place – $500 Pandora’s Paint from Prince of Wales Secondary
PLUS an additional $1000 for the top elevator pitch – Desire for a Hair Dryer from Eric Hamber Secondary
