JABC is committed to a diverse, inclusive, equitable and accessible environment where differences are valued and respected in all areas of our business.
Our programs are designed to be inclusive and accessible, free of prejudice and discrimination. We respect the backgrounds, creativity and talent of all individuals. As we inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy, we teach youth to recognize inclusivity and diversity as an asset.
JABC is dedicated to EDI principles in its program delivery, its organization and current and future endeavours. We believe these principles are crucial not only to the continued success of JABC, but for all organizations and businesses, and society as a whole. Central to our mission is not only building core skill sets in young people, but ensuring access and availability to all students, in all communities.
Working with Indigenous Communities
–
JABC partners with Indigenous communities across British Columbia to provide culturally inclusive programs in work readiness, financial health, and entrepreneurship. Designed with input from Indigenous leaders, these initiatives empower youth aged 5 to 29 with the skills needed for personal and economic success.
12% of JABC’s workforce identifies as Indigenous, reflecting our commitment to representation and inclusion. Discover our growing Indigenous team

Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame
–
Established in 2005, the BLBC Hall of Fame celebrates outstanding business leaders whose contributions have shaped the province and the nation, leaving a lasting legacy that inspires future generations.
Nominations are open to the public and are vetted by both a nominating committee and a selection committee, ensuring that Laureates demonstrate exceptional vision, leadership, integrity, and the creation of a meaningful legacy.
This process continues to highlight the importance of diverse backgrounds and experiences. It reflects JABC’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring the Hall of Fame represents the broad spectrum of B.C.’s business community.
