September 5, 2025 – As September kicks off, I’m thrilled to celebrate some remarkable milestones and share highlights from our most impactful year yet.
Last school year, JABC delivered 86,686 student learning experiences across urban, rural, and Indigenous communities in B.C. Every story and success from the past year has inspired me and reinforced why JA’s work is so meaningful.
This year also marks a special double anniversary: JA British Columbia turns 70, and the Business Laureates of British Columbia Hall of Fame celebrates 20 years of recognizing excellence in business leadership.
Student Impact
Our programs give young people essential skills in work readiness, financial health, and entrepreneurship. They equip youth with the confidence and knowledge to navigate a rapidly changing world, making every experience meaningful and impactful.

Celebrating Achievements
We are thrilled to share that JABC is a finalist for the 2025 Business Distinction Awards (Non-Profit of the Year)! Presented by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, this honour reflects the impact of our programs and the dedication of our donors, volunteers, educators, and team members. All award winners will be announced on October 30!
Looking Ahead
With your continued support, we are on track to reach our strategic goal of 100,000 student experiences annually by fiscal 2027, empowering even more youth across B.C.

Why JA Programs Matter
