JA British Columbia (JABC) presented its 3rd annual JABC TechWorks Vancouver to almost 450 students on January 17th, 2019. This full day program introduced Vancouver-area grade 9 and 10 students to a variety of technology-related career options in British Columbia.
This year, the event was held at the Nest at the University of British Columbia. The morning program involved stimulating speakers, demos and several interactive periods where students voted or answered questions using their smartphones. The afternoon program was a series of breakout sessions that students had pre-selected according to their interests.
