Do you want to make the most of your income? World-renowned financial literacy advocate Prakash Koirala will show how mindset is the first step to financial success. He will share ways to help students overcome barriers, build strong habits, and engage in money conversations that truly matter to them.

Investing with Confidence (20 min)

JABC’s Ramona Hooper will explore the traits of successful investors and how students can develop them. Learn how financial knowledge builds resilience, helping students avoid emotional decision-making during uncertain times. Discover practical tools that make investing concepts accessible and engaging.

How to prepare a personal budget (30 min)

Sarah Wong, Senior Wealth Planning Associate with Nicola Wealth, will walk participants through a hands-on budgeting exercise. Gain tips on teaching students to build realistic budgets while making this essential skill relatable and easy to understand in the classroom.

Credit cards: are they good or bad? (15 min)

Credit can be confusing for students and adults alike. A financial planning professional will unpack key concepts such as credit scores, building good credit, and using credit responsibly. Learn how to guide students toward smart, informed financial choices.

Smart Online Shopping (15 min)

From spotting secure websites to understanding consumer rights, online shopping offers valuable lessons in money management. This session will share tools to help students shop safely, stick to budgets, and protect themselves as digital consumers.
