JABC is pleased to be hosting JABC Techworks 2.0, the online version of our popular in-person JABC TechWorks student capstone experience, once again during the 2021-2022 school year.

- Session 1: Wednesday, December 8, 2021 – 9:15 am to 10:30 am PST
- Session 2: Wednesday, December 8, 2021 – 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm PST
- Session 3: Thursday, March 3, 2022 – 9:15 am to 10:30 am PST
- Session 4: Thursday, March 3, 2022 – 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm PST
Please note the same Live Event is offered four separate times. You should select the Live Event that aligns with your timetable. Access to the post-Live Event Video Library and optional activities will be provided after the Live Event.
JABC TechWorks was created with the objective to expose youth to tech and tech-related career opportunities in B.C. The program allows students to explore the skills and education they need to get there.
This year, each breakout session will feature a tech-related career featuring speakers from various small and large companies. Up to 8 careers will be highlighted that have a positive labour market outlook and will continue to be in high demand through to the year 2030. These careers have been carefully selected using data from B.C.’s labour market research to help students select careers that can take them anywhere and ensure their personal and professional success.
