To celebrate 70 years of JA British Columbia, we’re launching the JABC 7 Decades Challenge, a school-wide incentive that recognizes and celebrates B.C. schools for their support of JA programs!

How It Works

Educators enrol their classes in JA programs, which are counted toward their school’s total

All programs already delivered or enroled this school year are included

Programs must be delivered between September 2, 2025 and May 15, 2026, and schools can start at any time during this period

All JA programs are eligible and contribute to the total. See menu at jabc.org/programs

Program totals are calculated by school, not by individual educator

Schools receive one (1) contest entry for every seven (7) JA programs delivered

The more programs delivered, the more entries your school earns

The Prize

One (1) B.C. school will receive:

$700 Staples gift card (for school-wide use)

Why Participate?

Our success over 70 years is thanks to schools like yours. JA programs give students hands-on learning in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, and this celebration is our way of recognizing and thanking our school partners for helping make these experiences possible for students across British Columbia.

 


Terms & Conditions

The JABC 7 Decades Challenge is open to schools in British Columbia that host JA programs delivered between September 2, 2025 and May 15, 2026. To be eligible, a school must complete a minimum of seven (7) JA programs within this period. Program totals are tracked internally by JA British Columbia and calculated at the school level.

One (1) eligible school will be selected by random draw to receive one (1) $700 Staples gift card for school-wide use. The prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and must be accepted as awarded. The selected school will be announced on May 22, 2026.

No purchase is necessary. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible schools. JA British Columbia reserves the right to modify or cancel the Challenge at any time without notice.
